It’s been comic-wise slow year, as life has been as random as always. I did recently take part in one comic competition. I will try to remember post my entry somewhere when I’m allowed to 🙂

I’ll be taking part again to digital Zine Fest Helsinki, I’ll be updating more on that on my Instagram instagram.com/heinokai_draws/ when it’s closer.

I have been trying lately strip comic form, I will later(some day, some month, some year?!) post those somewhere. I haven’t had passion before to do stip comics myself (though I’ve liked them!) but I figured something like that might help me to bounce back as those I do require quite little time to finnish and it’s been quite fun.

Btw, I was able to solve the comment spam issue for now, hurray! I still left on the setting that I need to approve comments just in case, so don’t be alarmed if they don’t appear right away 🙂

Little update:

My plans to update “Pata” here or other possible platforms is at least pushed forward for Finnish version, for English version I am not sure if it’s going to happen at all. I started translating it to English, but I cannot make it funny. The reason in not the puns I think, I actually was able to make it quite funny in that sense. I just fear it might not be very funny if you are not Finnish, as the narrative changes. I need to think it over a bit more.. or just move forward.

I am still working on a new project, but I changed between projects. This year has made me really think what kind of story I want to bring to this world and what I could be proud of. It’s going to take time before I get to publish anything, doing groundwork now 🙂

I also am sorry if you have commented something and I have missed it. I have terrible problem with spam here, I am trying to fix it! For now just I get so much spam it’s almost impossible for me to actually read all the comments. Anyhow I want to thank anyone who has left me a proper comment 🙂

Cannot believe it’s year 2020 and a new decade!

During last year I managed to release and print the comicbook ‘Pata’! The book is in Finnish. If you want a copy you can ask me in Instagram or find me in Helsinki Zine Fest 2020 (let’s hope I’ll get a table!).

I am working on the English version of the comic, and hopefully get it uploaded here later this year alongside the Finnish version 👍 I am also concidering some other platforms for it too, so that more people could find it

I am preparing myself for a new and a bit bigger comicbook project, but we’ll see what happens with that, life is busy as always 😅 😅 Cannot make any estimates for it yet but I’ll let you know when I know better if and when it’s happening. Byeeee
